I’m Lyndsey, a portrait artist based in Guernsey, working in coloured pencils and soft pastels. Whether it’s a dramatic figure emerging from deep shadow or a soft portrait glowing with warmth and light, every piece I make has that same quality: luminosity. Something that feels lit from within.
I work in layers, building up colour and character until it not only looks but feels like the subject.
A two-time winner of the Lee Baglin Memorial Trophy for General Excellence in Drawing at the Guernsey Eisteddfod, I continue to enter exhibitions across the island.
